Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Total Rewards teams develop, implement and evaluate Total Rewards programs, tools and initiatives (e.g., wage and salary administration, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluation, global mobility, executive compensation and health, life and retirement benefits) in the context of TE's internal and external environment to attract, retain and motivate employees. They administer and communicate the company's benefits program plan options, features and enrollment requirements and assist employees with benefit claim administration inquiries. They implement and execute mobility programs and services supporting employee short- and long-term transfers, assignments, country entry and domestic or international relocation. In addition, the Total Rewards team analyzes Total Reward cost containment strategies and make recommendations for improvement/enhancement as appropriate. They also ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices and stay current with laws, regulations and procedures governing international mobility and immigration.

The Director, Total Rewards will play an instrumental role in helping to build TE's benefits strategy and design a competitive reward program aligned with our guiding principles. In conjunction with our regional teams, the leader will evaluate and recommend plans that meet the needs of our diverse, global workforce. These include health and welfare plans, retirement programs, work-life policies, and reward and recognition programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with other members of Total Rewards and Human Resources team to build a benefits strategy, framework, and guiding principles aligned with TE's overall philosophy.
• Lead a matrixed team in the evaluation and modernization of TE's benefit programs to optimize meaning, enhance value, and provide effective benefits for our employees and their families.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, harmonize, and simplify our legacy plans, policies, and programs.
• Serve as a strategic partner to Business Leaders and Human Resources colleagues by understanding the business needs and employee benefit market dynamics to align and develop recommendations and frame strategic choices.
• Manage TE's benefit costs and funding through various arrangements, including multinational pooling, trusts, and coalitions.
• Enhance current and cultivate new vendor relationships with potential benefit partners such as insurance brokers and administrators to provide an exceptional employee experience.
• Oversee risk management and compliance through monitoring global benefits related regulations and practices. Partner with other corporate groups, regional, and business unit staff to facilitate the continued legal compliance of benefit programs.
• Lead benefit-specific aspects of due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and ensure smooth integration/harmonization of benefits when acquisitions are made.
• Interact with Legal, Treasury, Finance, and Payroll functions as required regarding other regulatory filings, actuarial valuations, FAS 87 consolidation, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, etc.
What your background should look like:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing global benefits and well/well-being programs.
• Demonstrated experience in developing various benefit strategies.
• Expertise in analyzing diverse types of health & welfare, defined benefit, and defined contribution plans (including both qualified and non-qualified arrangements) on a global basis.
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state legal and tax considerations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, Medicare Part D, and other regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with international government regulations for benefits plans.
• Proficiency in benefit accounting standards such as FAS 87, FAS 106, and FAS 112.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed, and global Human Resources operating environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Supporting M&A activities from due diligence through integrating diverse international benefits programs and post-implementation.
• Proven ability to build highly effective professional relationships and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $180,200-270,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
