Job Overview
The Financial Analyst (f/m/d) is responsible for preparing the EMIA regional forecast and budget of Selling and General & Administrative (GnA) expenses and acting as business partner to the Sales, Marketing & GnA Functional Leaders. They are actively involved in the monthly financial closing which includes assessing the results, analyzing the trends, identifying risks and opportunities and potential areas for improvement. They are also responsible for maintaining the processes according to internal policies.

- Prepares monthly rolling forecasts and analyses trends for Selling and GnA
- Acts as the Finance Business Partner for Senior Management by providing information and suggesting necessary actions for decision making
- Has Regular meetings with Business Partners to discuss latest results on Costs and Headcount
- Tracks Bad Debts and reports opportunities and risks
- Approves OpEx related costs via Purchase Requisitions
- Helps in identifying business or process inefficiencies and potential areas of improvement
- Drives for process improvements within the EMIA Finance organization
- Defines, measures and tracks productivity KPIs for various Teams under the Sales and GnA Organization
- Interacts with colleagues from different company locations across EMIA and helps in matching the bottom-up forecast with the top-down approach
- Prepares financial and business-related analyses and research in areas such as Headcount, Sales & Marketing Spend, Incentive Plans etc.
- Increases productivity by developing automated applications and eliminating duplications
- Focuses on continuous process improvements & simplification
What your background should look like:
- University degree in finance / accounting
- 2+ Experience in forecasting, budgeting and controlling. Experience with working on different areas of the P&L is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly Accountable and independent
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization
- Ability to act comfortable around higher management
- Knowledge of SAP, SAC or similar
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of Tableau/VBA/Power BI is a plus
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS is an advantage
