Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

What your background should look like:

Policies and Procedures
((i) Organize and implement Environment related standard and risk control issues, especially for waste management and environment monitoring.
(ii) Monitor the implementation of Environment control plan (waste management, environment monitoring and environment related terms)

in order to ensure the business procedures in line with EHS and global standards.
all mission would complete accurately within timeline.
EHS monitor and compliance
(i) Supervise all environmental treatment facilities operating well and effectively, monthly check all the environmental focus area and follow up corrective actions for these non-compliance issues.
(ii) Support executing the audit of internal/external environment system and process; support on environment compliance audit.
(iii) Keep close contact with EPB and execute the new requirements.
Environment monitoring and waste management
(i) Develop annual environment monitoring plan per site pollutant discharge certificate requirement, excute regular environment monitoring and follow up monitoring results to ensure compliance.
(ii) Responsible for site full-cycle hazardous waste management, from generation, storage, transportation to dispose/recycle, ensure compliance disposal. Establish and maintain standardized management records for hazardous waste and other government required files.
(iii) Conduct annual audit to hazardous waste dispoal suppliers to ensure cmpliance.
EHS Data Reporting
(i) EHS data report in Velocity system, included but not limited to environment/sustanibility related metrics input, quarterly environment self-assessment, labor data, together with other Coporate required data.
(ii) Coorporate with TEOA to optiize EHS digital dashboard and daily EHS data statistics;
(iii)Keep good communication with local government for the EHS issues, finish and submit the reports timely, included but not limited to environment monitoring results, execution reports, hazardous waste reports and other environment data reporting required by government.
EHS training and engagement:
(i) Support EHS training deployment per SAFE requirements, including but not limited to training plan development, execution, and follow up.
(ii) Take part in employee engagement activities per company requirements and support on safety culture engagement deployment.

Requirement
Bachelor's degree with safety or environmental relative background Min 3 years working experience.
Basic English writing & speaking ability, CET-4 or above
