Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

Monitors manufacturing practices and processes for environmental considerations; ensures adherence to organizational policies, industry practices, and governmental regulations.

• Full compliance with local regulations and corporate requirements
• Improve environment management system for continuous improvement.
• Coordinating permits from agencies, producing reports and documentation, and participating in environmental audits (ISO 14001, etc.).
• Analyzing the organizational landscape and providing recommendations for corporate sustainability initiatives.
• Communicating standards, rules, and practices for environmental protection and promoting training programs related to environmental issues.
• Launch EHS programs/initiatives to drive environment management.
• Maintain Corp Environment & Sustainability Reporting system.
• Communicate with project team to carry out EIA and EIA final acceptance if any new expansion project.
• Manage and run the site wastewater treatment plant properly to ensure the discharge meets standard.
• Arrange routine monitoring for wastewater discharge and air emission.
• Manage the disposal of site solid waste and hazardous waste according to local environmental laws & regulations.
• Keep monitoring on the new and revised national & local environment laws/regulations/standards.
• Work with EHS peers to complete other EHS management works as assigned if any.

Requirements
• Bachelor degree and above, major in Environmental Science and Engineering or related.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience in industrial industry is a must.
• Experienced in wastewater station management is preferred.
• Team coaching or management experience is preferred.
• English at business level both oral and written.
• Excellent communication skill.
