Job Overview
As a Distribution Market Manager (DMM), you'll be the key point of contact between TE Connectivity and our distributors, representing the Channel Business Unit. This role offers the chance to collaborate across multiple TE Business Units, contributing to our sales organization and helping expand TE's market share. You'll leverage strategic vision and technical expertise to build strong relationships and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will need to reside near the Harrisburg PA area, this role requires up to 50% of travel availability.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Growth with Distributors: Develop and execute growth strategies with distribution partners.
Collaborate on Sales Plans: Partner with Sales Managers to implement and track distributor corporate plans at the branch level.
Deliver Results: Lead market business reviews, monitor results, and ensure accountability.
Field Sales Support: Visit distributor branches, supporting them with technical needs and aligning them with correct internal resources.
Market Share Expansion: Increase TE Connectivity's presence and influence in assigned territories.
Competitive Analysis & Strategy: Track competitor strategies and adjust plans to strengthen TE's market position.
Quote Follow-Ups & Account Management: Oversee quotes and account retention, ensuring customer needs are met.
Distributor Training & Support: Coach distributor teams to strengthen their product knowledge, performance, and accountability.
Execute Sales Programs: Ensure consistent execution of TE sales programs and design registration initiatives that develop to win.
Align with Distributor Strategies: Understand distributor goals to better align them with TE's key initiatives.
Success Metrics
Your performance will be measured by:
Sales Growth: Achieving POS (point-of-sale) growth across TE products in your area.
Pipeline Conversion: Driving a strong conversion rate from distributor opportunities to closed sales.
Effective Account Management: Successfully supporting and growing assigned accounts.
What your background should look like:
• Experience: 5+ years in sales management, ideally in electronics or components/systems industries.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; technical background preferred.
• Communication & Relationship Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with a track record of building effective professional relationships.
• Strategic & Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, execute, and drive results independently, while collaborating across teams.
• Eligibility: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to export regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Distribution Sales Management Experience: 5+ years with electronics OEM or electronics distributor (ideal but not mandatory).

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $84,200 - $126,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
