Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager role primarily focuses on leading and managing a multi-functional shared services team specializing in digital marketing strategies. This includes overseeing paid search and ad programs, social media marketing (SMM), search engine optimization (SEO), content, digital, and product data management initiatives. This individual will be required to work beyond department boundaries, facilitate and participate in global cross-functional collaboration, and act as a mentor and role model for the team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage digital marketing, content, social media, and SEO teams.
  • Manage campaign operations and focus on driving campaign effectiveness.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and be responsible for ensuring that the team meets all KPI and SLA-defined requirements.
  • Coach the team to deliver an excellent customer experience in every interaction.
  • Accountable for reviewing performance with key regional stakeholders (US/EMEA/APAC) through weekly meetings and monthly business reviews.
  • Coordinating activities/deadlines with the team; monitoring progress with internal review meetings.
  • Demonstrate ability to work beyond department boundaries.
  • Facilitate and participate in Global cross-functional teams and act as a Mentor/Role Model for company subsidiaries and offices.
  • Build a team culture to generate ideas that help the business.
  • Identifying and analyzing data to understand performance gaps, implementing performance plans/remedial action to bridge those gaps, and proactively predicting and mitigating risks/challenges.
  • Presents data in an easily digestible format that helps manage decision-making.
  • Analyze marketing efforts by managing customer requests/complaints; provide solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify relevant technology trends and opportunities and leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and customer value.
  • Assist in testing and documenting processes/procedures/systems using comprehensive knowledge management.
  • Work with other leaders to implement global best practices across BUs and support functions.
  • Use the principles of Lean Six Sigma in everyday operations.
  • Global-local stakeholder alignment: Developing relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders, and core suppliers both locally & globally.
  • Act as the first point of contact (internal/external) for questions/assistance.
  • Conduct, design, and deliver process/procedure training when required.
  • Develop and implement project teams for process improvement, internal communications, and interdepartmental understanding.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing required, MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of various Digital Marketing tools (AEM, SFDC, Adobe Suite, Analytics tools, etc.)
  • 5+ years in a digital Marketing (or similar role)
  • Experience with AEM, Adobe, or Google Analytics.
  • Ability to influence internal business partners with no direct reporting relationship exists.
  • Experience with SalesForce.com, Eloqua, and other digital marketing tools a plus.
  • Excellent relationship management, presentation, and communications skills that establish trust, credibility, and respect.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) a must.
