Job Overview
Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency

Responsibilities:
• Analyze and reconcile accounting accounts monthly.
• Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with current regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and asset account analysis.
• Collaborate in the preparation of financial reports and updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations in Costa Rica.
• Manage the accounting cycle.
• Work together with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations that may affect the company.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or advanced student in Economic Sciences (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with PROCOMER.
• Knowledge:
o Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations in Costa Rica.
o Experience in managing the accounting cycle, bank reconciliations, account analysis, and asset management.
o Basic knowledge of Excel; experience with accounting systems (SAP is a plus).
• Skills:
o Attention to detail and the ability to work with numerical data accurately.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
