Job Overview

• Will handle proliferating the Industrial Commercial Transportation's product portfolio, specifically in application areas of high-speed data and eMobility (Electronification of Everything).
• Will be the key resource in the territory to drive business for TE - ICT.
• Work intimately with the customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications.
• Will engage with customers and internal product managers to find solutions, as well as ICT's product roadmap for next generation technology.
• Will identify new applications, requirements, modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications including conducting on-site presentations and hands on training of products for Distributors and Customers.
• Will handler all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities, determining solutions, creating demand, preparing detailed product specifications, technical marketing support, and ensuring high quality, timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support.
• Will leverage the reach of ICT's authorized distributors to work on identified opportunities. Based on the customers and activity in this territory, priority will be put on design-in opportunities.

This will be a home office role with potential locations are Settle, WA; Portland, OR; San Diego, Los Angeles, &/or San Francisco, CA

Short Description

You will manage customers and distributors with detailed product information and application support of products to assist in winning new business for TE Connectivity.
o These activities will include on site customer visits with distributors to help find a TE solution for the identified application.
o Continuous technical training of distribution partners on products including refresher training on existing products and upfront management of NPI (New Product Introductions)
o Identifying competitive threats and providing feedback to Product Management on the market position of the competitive product including, but not limited to, pricing, clone (drop in replacement), design enhancements and target customers.
o Driving the organic growth of new business with distributors. This will include the ability to forecast the business and provide information back to TE Supply Chain and Demand Mgt. for successful product launches.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Ability to work as an individual or part of an account team
  • Strong customer focus and willingness to assist in all aspects of their business
  • High energy and self-motivation
  • Analytical and structured thinking with an ability to understand customers request
  • Ability to work with little supervision and is motivated
  • Demonstrated adaptability to change priorities and strategies based on business conditions; Flexibility Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,328 - $145,992 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
