Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working with the Product Managers and content team to build and drive project plans and processes to produce and ingest significant new video, print, and digital content. This will be your initial priority.
- Organize, lead and monitor product team projects, including video,print, and digital content production, as well as the process of defining our role and deliverables for major requirements efforts.
- Define new processes for content production and ingestion, working with other teams including technology and operations teams as appropriate.
- Tracking project performance to ensure successful implementation of short and long term goals
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Maintain a project risk assessment and identify options to mitigate risks
- Drive project progress and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle
- Responsible for managing resources utilization, project scope, deadlines, and budget
- Establish, track and report on project KPIs
- Facilitate regular project status meetings with stakeholders and teams
- Prepare team and executive-level status reports
- Participate in cross-departmental resource capacity planning sessions
- Lead daily scrum meetings and other agile processes as needed
- Escalate potential project issues in a timely manner and develop a risk management plan with stakeholders
- Manage project vendors
- Support the product team leaders as needed in accomplishing the evolution of our product roadmap.
- Work collaboratively with project managers from other departments.
- Occasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetings
Qualifications:
- BA or relevant industry experience
- 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with content and creative projects, and product development projects
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment, preferably as a Scrum Master
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing both onsite and geographically distributed project teams
- Understanding of matrixed organizations
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and team dynamics
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Working knowledge of change management principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to drive order and forward traction out of sometimes amorphous settings/problems
- Bilingual fluency in the Spanish language to support our bilingual product needs
Desired Skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum (ACP), or other similar industry-recognized certifications
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence) or comparable Agile suite
- Experience with industry-standard project management tools
