Department Overview

TD Wealth Operations is part of Wealth Shared Services and is the operational engine of TD Wealth, acting as a centre of excellence for core processes that underpin key moments in our clients' relationship with the Wealth business, including onboarding, transfer services, trade and cash management processing, and delivering client statements and communications. Wealth Operations supports all TD Wealth distribution channels, TD Mutual Funds, TD Asset Management, and TD Securities. TD Wealth Operations' goal is to be recognized as an industry leader in Operational Excellence by delivering best in class client, colleague, and partner experiences.

Job Description:

Business Innovation & Transformation (BI&T) team with Wealth OpX is responsible to support transformation with Wealth Operations by using automation tools, various programming techniques, act as consultants and oversee if with the proper governance of End-user computing (EUCs) tools.

Reporting to the Manager, BI&T, the successful candidate will get an opportunity to bring their skills to the team while learning to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, support project deliverables and Automation tasks, learn Business Documentation and Governance.

The candidate will have opportunity to work with members of the Wealth Operational Excellence and Wealth Chassis team, Operations functional pillar leads, partners across Wealth Shared Services, Governance and Control, Compliance, Audit and EUC Governance . All mandates within Operational Excellence and Wealth Chassis Program team have accountability for enabling a legendary client and colleague experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering automation solutions and governance oversight on EUC solutions we build
  • Design and develop dashboards and reporting to support business needs, ensuring alignment of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Risk Indicator for Governance.
  • Thought leadership with goal to transform the way we do our work contributing to a white glove experience for our customers
  • Improving the data gathering process and reporting, while enhancing the efficiency to improve barriers to optimize automation needs

Your ability to ask questions, learn new skills, analyze data, organize and prioritize will be foundational to your success in the role.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a recognized undergraduate degree majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Statistics, Data Analytics or related, with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing concise business messages, documents, creating impactful presentations. Experience presenting in team meetings and leadership is a plus.
  • Confidence and the ability to lead and manage tasks in an area of moderate risk, complexity, and scope
  • Readiness to focus primarily on short to medium term strategy
  • Adaptability to understand and learn the business process constraints, organizational practices, and disciplines
  • Strength in interacting closely with business leaders to both optimize resources and leverage TD's operating model to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and scale
  • High degree of personal initiative, with strong influencing and leadership skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex details and summarize into a consumable format.
  • Strong judgement and ability to make rationale assumptions to drive initiatives forward independently.
