Job Description:
Bridging the Gap Scholarship Program Overview
At TD, we believe education opens doors and contributes to the long-term well-being of individuals, their families and our communities. To help drive these principles, TD Securities has created the Bridging the Gap Scholarship Program to recognize outstanding Canadian undergraduate students - both academically and with respect to extra-curricular and/or community service.
Successful applicants will receive:
- A 4-month paid internship position with TD Securities Infrastructure.
- The benefit of a TD Securities business mentor, who will be available to them for the full length of their 4-month paid summer internship position.
- A monetary scholarship of C$10,000 to be applied towards their tuition and school-related expenses for the 2026/2027 school year, upon completion of the 4-month paid summer internship position.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Identify as one or more of the following: Indigenous - First Nation, Inuit or Métis1, 2SLGBTQ+, Black, a woman, a person with a disability, and/or a visible minority.
- Attend an accredited Canadian university as defined by the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials ("Approved School") on a full-time basis
- Be enrolled in a 4 or 5-year undergraduate program at an Approved School and graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Selected candidates should be able to attend their work term in person. Please note that relocation expenses will not be covered.

TD Securities Infrastructure - Business Systems Analyst
Within TD Securities, Technology is the FinTech division that engineers platforms that support the leading-edge business capabilities to help TD Securities maintain its position as a prominent and award-winning investment dealer. We collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization to develop and implement innovative solutions that facilitate revenue generation, provide our clients with frictionless end-to-end experiences, and enable the expansion of TD Securities' capabilities across the globe.
Additionally, Data, Delivery, and Integration (DDI) plays a critical role in supporting TD Securities by enabling efficient data management, business innovation, and seamless integration across various platforms. The DDI function ensures that data governance, program delivery, and cross-dealer integration align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The Data function focuses on enhancing data governance and management capabilities to support the business. The delivery function ensures that strategic programs are effectively funded, governed, and aligned with business growth objectives. The integration function focuses on streamlining cross-dealer operations and aligning business processes across TD Securities.
Job Description
As a Business Systems Analysts, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our various teams within the Technology and Data Governance group. You will be treated as an equal member of the team, gaining meaningful experiences that contribute to improvements in our technology platforms and data management capabilities.
This role could involve working with core banking, customer servicing, or customer engagement platforms, as well as data governance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may vary by area but may include the following:
- Work with business partners to define, develop, and document detailed business requirements.
- Provide data governance expertise and execute data governance activities.
- Contribute to various operational activities and processes as assigned.
- Be knowledgeable about data management practices and procedures within the functional area, staying informed of emerging trends.
- Assist and drive automation of data management practices, including metadata, data lineage, authoritative sources, data usage, and data quality rules.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and quality engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to production.
- Prepare business metrics, reports, and ad hoc analytics related to data governance and financial analysis.
- Conduct internal and external research projects, developing reports and presentations for management.
- Troubleshoot and determine root causes of application issues.
- Conduct program/system research, analysis, and problem resolution.
Job Requirements:
- Passion for emerging technologies and data governance best practices.
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, SQL, or similar data visualization and analytical tools.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data management practices, enterprise data policy, and strategy.
- Expertise in Line of Business data strategy, data risk management, and data lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information.
