About this Role

You'll take the helm of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative group of Business Insights & Analytics Specialists supporting the Fraud group. As a leader with vision you will drive forward a strategic analytics agenda at the forefront of accelerating productivity, efficiency, and safeguarding our bank through a multi-pronged roadmap across analytics, AI/ML and business intelligence. You'll bring your talent for relationship-building to the forefront, working closely with business leaders to drive value through creative and innovate analytical solutions. You'll work together to master their business objectives then identify their needs and opportunities for adding value to the business. From there, you will oversee the development of ongoing analytics projects and initiatives, using your vast expertise to walk them through the process and provide ongoing support. Most importantly, your leadership inspires leadership in others, as well as the drive to execute with speed and precision and help bring TD into the future of business.

As a Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights you will:

  • Own and drive the full analytics roadmap for the Fraud group
  • Strategically partner with Fraud leadership teams on the management of the portfolio, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities.
  • Lead a teams of Business Insights & Analytics professionals/specialists, ensuring alignment to vision and roadmap.
  • Act as a "Single Point of contact' for key Analytics initiatives including partnering with analytics teams, business intelligence and AI/ML practice.
  • Act as analytics expert on advanced analytics projects, challenging analytical thinking and methodology.
  • Facilitate key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap and/or deliverables/frameworks/short to long term goals etc.)
  • Ensure team collaboration with partners on business problems/issues and provide fact-based analytical advice that aligns to strategy and drives shareholder value.
  • Manage raised client issues or priorities and contact appropriate areas to resolve or minimize business problems/issues.
  • Apply judgement, discretion and collaborate with internal partners to navigate and resolve ambiguous issues.
  • Review and craft the presentation of insights for executive leaders/business partners to drive strategic improvement.
  • Manage workload of analytics team; assigning data request to staff based on skills and development needs.
  • Oversee strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly diverse, qualified, and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs, creating and sustaining a high performing inclusive culture.
