The CCSE Team is part of TD Bank's Strategic Sourcing Group (SSG).
TDBG spends over $8BN each year with 3rd Party suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Group's (SSG) role is to create value for TD Bank by facilitating strategic and risk-aware relationships with these suppliers - making us a partner people want to work with and desire to work for.
The CCSE Team supports both internal TD Bank stakeholders (SSG / LOB / EVMO) and external suppliers (Sales / AR Finance) in the use of the SAP / Ariba procure to pay (ShopWise) application. Specifically, the CCSE Team is accountable for the following activities related to ShopWise: 3rd Party Supplier contract compliance; supplier spend enablement for supplier billing into ShopWise; and working with other TD Teams to facilitate supplier enablement in ShopWise.
Job Description/Accountabilities:
The Senior Analyst is a self-disciplined, performance driven, team player who works in collaboration with the North American end user community to enable suppliers on the SAP/Ariba procure to pay (ShopWise) application. The primary accountabilities of the role: mentor and assist CCSE analyst Team members with day to day activities; lead supplier spend enablement projects; manage the supplier contract compliance and spend enablement processes including spend channel selection / setup, contract compliance analysis / setup, and supplier invoicing setup and submission into the Ariba. The role involves continuous interaction with stakeholders across the organization: internal business partners; subject matter experts; other members of SSG; and 3rd-parties to support the execution of the sourcing needs across the Bank.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Contract Compliance, key accountabilities of the position include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for the management and support of contract compliance and spend enablement activities within the ShopWise application. Role is expected to be a subject matter expert on contract compliance setups and ongoing administration.
- Mentor and oversee a Team of CCSE analysts who perform the initial design, setup, and ongoing administration of contract compliance for 3rd Party suppliers transacting in ShopWise.
- Ensures the accuracy of contract compliance for existing enabled suppliers and any new suppliers that are enabled with contract compliance.
- Manages issues with internal TD Bank stakeholders and external 3rd Party Suppliers related to administering enabled supplier contract compliance.
- Provide recommendations of ways to operate in more efficient and cost-effective manner. Proactively escalate any continuous improvement and/or learning opportunities to SSG Team leadership.
- Ability to analyze large sets of data related to 3RD Party Supplier spend enablement design and contract compliance design / setup.
- Contribute to the creation / completion of monthly operational reporting and CCSE KPI's for 3rd Part Supplier spend enablement and contract compliance.
- Contribute to building a "high performing" CCSE Team culture - cross training and mentoring Team members; building collaborative relationships with TD Bank internal stakeholder groups (TPRM, Category Leads, LOB VMs, SM, CBT, SE, PEM); create an environment that encourages growth, visibility and continual learning; recognize and value individual differences and contributions; seek to include diverse and global perspectives.
- Mitigate risk by ensuring processes meet audit and compliance requirements, and take corrective action where necessary
- As a member of the Purchasing leadership team, assist in the development of processes and policies, leveraging your purchasing systems experience and knowledge of functional best practices.
- Function as a lead person on large / complex spend enablement projects.
- Provide direction to CCSE Team analysts on enablement projects and day to day contract compliance setup / administration.
Education/Accreditations
- Post-Secondary education/or equivalent experience
- Experience in the following is considered an asset:
- A Purchasing role or demonstrated experience in the areas of supplier contracting and invoice processing.
- Work experience on the Ariba application
- Project Implementation experience
Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Strong commercial acumen and business judgment.
- Demonstrated experience of Strategic Sourcing practices
- Demonstrated stakeholder/relationship management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pasted, customer-service focused environment.
- Sound analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation skills.
- Excellent communication (written and oral).
- Excellent working knowledge of office software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point and Outlook
- General knowledge of the TDBG organizational structure, including main business groups and their functions.
