Job Description:
The Onboarding Coordinator supports the Wealth business by providing support through the onboarding, transfer licensing and offboarding process of Wealth sales and sales support staff. The role is responsible to coordinate the hiring and onboarding with HR, Hiring Managers and stakeholders. The Onboarding Coordinator monitors, tracks and supports hired staff throughout the process of obtaining required licenses and registrations ensuring each candidate tracks against the timeline provided and liaise between internal partners and 3rd party training providers. The role is a subject matter expert on the process of testing preparation. The role is tasked with ensuring new hires complete all prerequisites prior to attending training.
Depth & Scope:
- Coordinates all onboarding aspects between HR, hiring managers, TD Wealth compliance, and new hires
- Acts as a single point of contact for new hires to facilitate the entire end-to-end onboarding and respond to any questions
- Ensures all new hires keep pace with testing preparation
- Informs Managers if candidate does not keep pace with defined testing preparation schedule
- Ensures new hires have obtained all required sales system access (Pershing, Envestnet, Salesforce, Ebix) prior to attending new hire training
- Coordinates with Business Service Managers to obtain all system access, real estate, technology, login credentials, key cards/keys/badges, NDIP and SEC required portable signage disclosures, business cards, corporate card, blackberry, etc.
- Develops and implements training timelines
- Monitors, tracks and reports trainee progress to leadership
- Coordinates the scheduling and registration of training
- Ensures trainees have received print material for training
- Liaises between the front office and Training & Practice Management team
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Coordinates HR changes between people managers and HR as needed
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years related experience
- High degree of organizational, planning & time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to coach, train and develop others
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
