Job Description:
The Network Engineer, member of the Network Engineering & Delivery Team, will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining Business-to-Business network interconnections. The successful candidate will be highly versed in design and configuration of enterprise network elements, as well as in leading technical discussions with stakeholders.
Here are the essential job functions of this position:
- Design, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the TD B2B interconnections and the TD B2B core infrastructure
- Create solution design documents and network diagrams
- Lead technical and planning discussions with Network Team, Project Managers, TD Lines of Business and TD partners
- Integrate technical solutions with business environment, recognizing systems interdependencies and reusability and ensuring seamless delivery
- Manage the B2B intake and attestation process according to TD procedures
- Manage the different activities according to JIRA/Agile methodology and TD Change Management procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Occasional travel requirements
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree preferred
- CCNP Routing & Switching required, CCIE preferred
- 5+ years relevant experience.
- Experience and excellent understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, routing protocols interworking
- Experience and excellent understanding of site-to-site VPNs and IPsec
- Experience and excellent understanding in LAN/WAN network architecture and operations in the enterprise (Firewalls, Routers, Switches)
- Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, Nexus, Catalyst
- Experience with firewalls configuration, Palo Alto experience preferred
- Experience with JIRA/Agile methodology
- Previous experience in a financial institution or large company preferred
