Department Overview
TD Wealth Operations is part of Wealth Shared Services and is the operational engine of TD Wealth, acting as a centre of excellence for core processes that underpin key moments in our clients' relationship with the Wealth business, including onboarding, transfer services, trade and cash management processing, and delivering client statements and communications. Wealth Operations supports all TD Wealth distribution channels, TD Mutual Funds, TD Asset Management, and TD Securities.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Innovation & Transformation (BI&T) within Wealth Operational Excellence and Project Chassis, this role will act as a supporting multiple tasks from automation; ideate new ideas on tools and technology; support POCs; manage/support existing End-User-Computing objects (EUCs); lead the development and implementation of projects to support Wealth Operations.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter with inclination to solve problems via asking relevant questions. The candidate will excel in analyzing complex problems, developing, and presenting data-driven solutions, and documenting processes and solutions while engaging in ensuring data governance and risk management practices are in place. If you are critical about improving processes, adept at using advanced technical tools, and have a knack for creating clear and effective process documents, we want to hear from you. This is a role that will enable you to make a huge impact to all Wealth Operations team's mandate.by bringing your current skillsets while learning new skills on the job.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Collaboration:
- Experience of working on multiple projects, delivering outcomes on time and within scope.
- Communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to ensure objectives are met.
- Lead, motivate, and develop relationships with Wealth Operations pillars to drive collaborative success.
- Create detailed documentation for requirements, process changes, solutions, and best practices to ensure consistency across the team.
Technical Expertise & Analysis:
- Python/Databricks/PySpark: Some experience with building and Cloud and troubleshooting solutions using technologies like Databricks/PySpark. Working experience on Python.
- Excel VBA: Ability to develop and optimize processes using Excel VBA for enhanced operational efficiency. Ability to trouble-shoot existing VBA code.
- Low Code / No Code Expertise: Proficiency in platforms like Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power Platform for automating and simplifying processes. Python very good to have.
- Data Analytics: Experience with advanced data analysis techniques to derive insights from business data and create meaningful visualizations.
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation frameworks to reduce manual effort and mitigate risks.
Process Reengineering & Improvement:
- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct technical subject matter analysis on EUCs, providing valuable insights and solution recommendations for improvement/reengineering.
Data Governance & Risk Management:
- Support, review and enforce data governance and risk management best practices and as per guidelines from Enterprise teams.
- Review, assess, enhance and update change management and implementation strategy as new requirements are made available from Enterprise teams.
- Complete all Enterprise governance requirements like manage automation asset's Attestation Process in a timely manner, Support and enhance existing attestation processes; ideate and engage in improving data quality of our asset inventory; complete Enterprise related questionnaire for Data Retention and Governance; support completion of various artefacts like Control Gap Assessments.
- Engage multiple teams across Wealth Operations to engage and share information/knowledge on Data Access, Controls, data management and management of risks associated with automation tools.

- Ability to think critically and evaluate processes to identify areas of inefficiency or risk.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving business operations.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Innovation Mindset
- Curiosity to explore new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to transform business operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within Wealth Operations or a related area.
- Proficiency in Python/PySpark, Databricks, Excel, VBA, JIRA, Confluence; experience with Alteryx, PowerBI and Tableau is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in process reengineering and improvement initiatives.
- Excellent data and analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Experience in Data and Risk Governance or related roles in Business, Governance, Risk and Controls
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders.
- Experience in process documentation and creating detailed process maps.
- A proactive, critical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
