Job Description:
The Financial Services Market Manager III (FSMM) champions the sale of Mass Affluent products including insurance, annuities, and investments, as well as referrals to TD Wealth and TD Ameritrade for booked assets throughout the retail store network. This job is responsible for implementing financial marketing plans and programs that create opportunities for partners, managers and business development executives to acquire new clients and expand business with existing clients. Key objectives of this job include overseeing the efforts of the Financial Service Representatives (FSRs) in an assigned market/territory from a licensing, training, product offering knowledge, ramp-up, Mass Affluent sales, TD Wealth referrals, and TD Ameritrade referrals perspective. The more senior level roles are responsible for managing the function and FSMMs, establishing marketing plans and budgets, and building positive relationships with Retail bank senior leadership, Wealth, and TD Ameritrade management.
Depth & Scope:
- Responsible for overseeing the efforts of Financial Services Representatives (FSRs) in a low to medium complex assigned market from licensing, training, ramp-up, Mass Affluent sales/TD Wealth referrals/Ameritrade referrals
- Partners with Store Management to ensure FSRs in the assigned market are in compliance with all regulatory guidelines with respect to the Mass Affluent offering
- Increases Mass Affluent product sales productivity and referral flow through active coaching, planning with Retail store management within assigned market
- Responsible for supporting/completing product sales and client meetings
- Implements activities and ongoing sales/Mass Affluent product training, coaching and provides sales support related project coordination within market
- May provide marketing analysis, including local competitive intelligence and market share analysis
- Teams with Market Sales Manager to launch campaigns that effectively generate leads and opportunities
- Partners with local store/market management through participation in community, and business development activities focused on enhancing profile as an expert in Mass Affluent sales within assigned Market
- Accountable to net revenue growth, return on investment and marketing performance metrics
- Monitors assigned market progress against sales plan
- Provides regular and timely progress reports summarizing business results, activities, and action plans to Store, Mass Affluent, and Wealth Leadership
- Serves as contact for Mass Affluent customer escalation issues
- Partners with Compliance to support investigations as needed
- Some travel within assigned market required
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of financial services industry experience in a sales capacity
- Demonstrated record of sales success in a similar environment
- Required Licenses or Registrations (or obtain within 90 days of hire): Life/Health
- Ability to influence Sr. Leadership
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Possesses as strong desire to win
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive Influence Management Skills
