Finance
The Finance group in Asia Pacific performs multiple functions and is a key unit in the region. The Finance team is responsible for financial, capital, management, and regulatory reporting. The team also manages the Accounts Payable process for the region. The group works closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver on its mandate.

Position Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for the management of Hong Kong Finance and Operations related tasks including but not limited to maintaining the general ledger, running of the Daily Finance Report, Accounts Payable function, Head Office reporting, Regulatory reporting, Audit, Taxation, Internal Funding Management, Hong Kong Interbank Clearing ("HKICL") routine drill testing, managing the HKD CHATS and Faster Payment System, maintaining and managing physical record keeping, maintaining the accounting procedures to assist in the review of current processes and projects as required.
Advise on potential changes that can be made to current regulatory policies that relates to Finance.
- Regulatory Reporting - Responsible for completing regulatory returns
- Management Reporting - Responsible to produce the management reporting deck .
- Head Office Reporting - Responsible to complete the head office reporting templates and schedules
- Accounts Payable - Responsible for executing the expenses payments
- Tax Reporting - Interact with Tax advisors and prepare the necessary information to complete the tax returns for the entities.
- Projects - includes automation initiative, EUC deliverables and new businesses.
- Audit - Work with Internal/External auditors and prepare the necessary schedules and information.
- HKICL - Interact with HKICL and perform the routine drill testing as required
- Internal Funding - monitor the funding requirements
- Provides support to Director and Senior Business Manager as required
- Other duties as assigned.
The role provides a great learning opportunity and provides excellent exposure to the various facets of the finance function from both a "Run the bank" and "Change the bank" perspective fostering ones career in the field of Finance and Accounting.
Skills / Competencies:
- Professionally qualified (CPA/ACCA/CA) with an accounting degree
- Preferably 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance or audit
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Excel skills including macros
- Possess good time management skills
- Preferably with HKICLand CHATS experiences
- Experience in Peoplesoft and HKMA Banking returns would be an advantage
