Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. The ETF Sales Analyst / Business Development Manager works in partnership with the Vice President & Director, Lead of ETF Distribution for TDAM and their greater team as well as the Associate Vice President & Head of National Accounts and their respective team to support their distribution efforts of TDAM ETFs via Head Office Relationships/Brokers/Planners/Financial Advisors & Family Offices across Canada.

The goal of the position is to increase the market share of TD ETFs within the industry by identifying trends and opportunities within the marketplace as well as partnering with the VP's to promote our offerings to key client relationships. This is a well-paid position which provides excellent opportunities for growth within TDAM and the larger TD organization and ability to develop sales techniques, relationship management skills and analyze and use capital markets knowledge daily, relaying TDAM's outlook and solutions to a set of sophisticated clientele.

Accountabilities:
• Ensure full knowledge of most current ETF market trends including - product/portfolio features, benefits, sales tools/processes, and investment strategies.
• Build client relationships with prospective, existing and dormant accounts
• Periodically attend client events/meetings and represent TDAM at conferences.
• Work with entire Sales & CPM (client portfolio management) team to deliver timely ETF product updates
• Work to diversify sales at the dealer, advisor and product level to ensure sustainability of sales momentum
• Deliver solution information, Portfolio Manager insights, macro-economic guidance, investment ideas, trend analysis, competitive analyst & trade/allocation ideas
• Produce, interpret & enhance multiple ETF data reports (Broadridge, Tableau, Internal etc)
• CRM maintenance and sales pipeline reporting
• Manage product peer group comparisons and distribution report
• Assist with portfolio reviews and product comparisons (Bloomberg, Ycharts etc)

Job Requirements
• Genuine interest/curiosity about capital markets and finance, driven to continually self-learn.
• Knowledge of the structure and features of ETFs and the competitive landscape of the industry. Prior experience in industry an asset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Experience with Tableau an asset
• Ability to work effectively within a close team environment, excellent attitude and receptivity to coaching.
• Entrepreneurial and relationship building
• Client-service orientation
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
• Financial designations considered an asset (CSC, CFA, CFP, CIM) and/or academic background in finance, economics, etc. (undergraduate degree or graduate).
• Bilingual (English/French) would be considered an asset.

Please note the role requires going into the office 4 days a week.
