Job Description:
As senior MDM (master data management) technical lead on large scale complex initiatives, provide senior technical expertise with a focus on bank and industry-wide solutions that address capability gaps to create significant value for customers. Implements MDM solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in an industry-leading manner. Provide deep technical leadership, sets direction in developing and implementing MDM solutions to address Platform and Journey's emerging business needs and strategies, as well as efficiency opportunities from a technical perspective. Advance the overall design, architecture, and technology capabilities in accordance with industry developments.
- Lead the MDM application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirements.
- Execute on implementation of the modern, performant, operational and analytical MDM for the enterprise.
- Lead or provide expertise to MDM Designers/ data integration and quality Developers/ Data Analysts / Specialists in defining and managing detailed system design for data integration processes for Enterprise MDM/C360 platform.
- Assist enterprise in defining MDM architecture along with enterprise architecture.
- Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments that come with the MDM software used by the project.
- Responsible for advancing MDM (master data management) practices through processes and tools, setting development and design standards at business unit and/or enterprise level.
- Execute on MDM strategy as it relates to the introduction of tools, automation and better delivery processes, robust design practices, adoption of new and better paradigms across Application, Platform, and Infrastructure
- Establish data quality as a service, define KPIs for data quality and engage business and technology stakeholders to measure and enhance the over data quality for the MDM ecosystem.
- Collaborate with LOB stakeholders including but not limited to architects, data engineers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of MDM solutions with other systems.
- Execute on the API strategy to make data from MDM platform available to the consumers in real-time.
- Lead the creation of solution options and ultimately a comprehensive end-to-end solution and coordinate relevant stakeholders, as required to support development initiatives; following a "build it, break it, fix it mentality".
- Review technical deliverables throughout detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize MDM processes and systems.
- Define operating model for all lines of businesses by collaborating with enterprise data management office for data stewardship within MDM

- Escalation points for post implementation activities during the warranty period
- Approves code check-in/ check-out into source code repository as part of source code management.
- Leads coordination with ITS/ ARE teams to support code packaging & deployment (CI & CD) into higher environments.
- Have oversight responsibility to ensure technical decisions, technical risks and lessons learned are identified, implemented, and clearly documented.
- Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high-risk activities as necessary.
- Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Provides consultative and strategic guidance to executive leadership.
- Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest. Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units

- Manages and directs activities related to analysis, design, and support of technical data management solutions on larger projects.
- Assignments are highly complex and multi-faceted
- Acts as a key resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, the business and/or outside vendors.
- Typically reports to the practice owner
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- University or Graduate / post graduate degree in Data Management or related Computer Science or Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
- Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
- Graduate degree nice to have 12+ years relevant experience.
- Subject Matter Expert on technical environment/ tools for own area
- Subject Matter Expert on business processes and procedures, as well as broader organizational issues and technology Advanced knowledge of business/ organization, Bank standards, infrastructure, architecture, and technology in related areas from a design/ support/ solutions perspective
- Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware/ software support and/or development of technical solutions
