Department Overview

Digital Strategy, Innovation & Payments is the fastest growing channel at TD with a global mandate and an enterprise-wide accountable for the strategy, customer experience and distribution of online and mobile products and services. The group's primary focus is to deliver safe, efficient and effective customer experiences that deepen customer relationships during each digital sales and service interaction.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be a full-time employee participating in a 24 month (4 x 6 month) rotational program with exposure to a variety of product groups within Digital, Payments and Innovation. The associate will have exposure to diverse experiences to provide an opportunity for growth and skill development.

How you will contribute:

  • Learn to identify customer/business problems and effectively collaborate with colleagues to solve them
  • Develop strong relationship management skills, partnering with stakeholders across the organization
  • Continuously enhance digital fluency, and remain current with technological trends to support product strategy and development
  • Demonstrate the qualities within our leadership profile such as thinking like a customer and innovating with purpose
  • Take ownership to shape key aspects of the associate program to support your personal and peers' development

Job Requirements

Required skills:

  • Must be graduated between Dec 2024 and May 2025 with an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Interactive Digital Media, Information Media and Technoculture
  • Curious thinker with a passion for great digital customer experiences
  • Driven leader capable of inspiring those around you and championing TD's culture of inclusion and diversity
  • Ability to develop business cases
  • Focus on driving efficiencies and simplifying the way we work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively within a team environment
  • Passion and drive to participate in, or lead, initiatives that improve the lives of those in our community
  • The ability to excel within a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Conceptual thinker with proven analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Considered an asset but not a requirement:

  • 1-2 years of Digital Co-op/Intern experience
  • Experience in hackathons, bug bashes or similar events that drive innovation and group collaboration
  • Experience in leading or participating in initiatives or causes that support positive outcomes in our community
  • Experience with agile
