Job Description:

Department Overview

The Data Risk Management (DRM) DRM's Oversight function is responsible for advising, monitoring, challenge, and control testing adherence to Enterprise Data and Information Management Policy, Standards, and the TD Bank Group Data Risk Management Framework. The team defines and communicates challenge requirements and assesses reporting metrics and analytics for input

to challenge.

This is an exciting opportunity to join as an DRM Analyst within our Reporting Team

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Produce specialized reporting packages, dashboards for internal and external teams, including Board and Risk reporting
  • Support the delivery of all risk and performance reporting deliverables for the DRM (e.g., Data Risk Profile and Key Risk Indicator reporting)
  • Act as the reporting subject matter expert, ensuring that supporting data is understood and key analytical insights can be illustrated for reporting produced
  • Provide data visualization expertise within Tableau and interpretation of data into meaningful insights and visuals to aid stakeholders in understanding outcomes and recommendations.
  • Craft complex and comprehensive reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data infrastructure, data internal warehouse and external data sources
  • Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in all reporting
  • Work independently as the analyst / expert and may provide technical support to others
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all main data sources for the data used within the business unit and ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes
  • Future opportunities in supporting and conducting oversight and challenge activities

Top Skills required for job include:

  • Knowledge of Tableau visualization is preferred, with any additional coding experience in Python, VBA or PowerBI is valued
  • Experience with drawing key insights and observations from reporting and analysis
  • Proven ability to deliver progress status reports and performance measurement reports
  • Ability to challenge the status quo by leveraging critical thinking and strong problem solving skills
