TDEF (TD Equipment Finance) is the specialized business with Business Banking for Equipment Finance. The business mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations, this position is responsible to facilitate the development and delivery of the business strategy as it pertains to system enhancements for the EKIP (TDEF book of record), BBHub as well as additional systems the Business utilizes to support the day-to-day operations. The role will plan for business initiatives on an annual basis by developing a road map and prioritization of priorities. This role is accountable for the mapping of process maps (current & future state), change management, communications for the Business and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders including technology, business architects, all documentation and communication will be handled by this role.

The Business Process Management Specialist is responsible for:

  • Strategically collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement training, change management and process maps with respect to the applications used in the day-to-day operations of the business (including EKIP & BBHub) to ensure smooth transition and adoption for the business. Proactively improve upon support materials to ensure awareness and consistency of manuals and procedures with respect to the systems and business processes.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards including and proficient with project management and the new Agile Methodology for ongoing system enhancements, Jira, Confluence, test cases etc.
  • Work with applicable Journey and TDEF business in identifying new enhancements and/or system applications required within the business to create efficiency, product offering or risk management.
  • Accountable for Diamond Attestation for the business to ensure appropriate access rights are provided to TDEF employees.
  • Ensure the business is in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements to maintain a culture of risk management and controls. (eg. Financial controls, segregation of duties, delegation of authorization)
  • Co-ordinate the business validation testing for any new enhancements to ensure solutions meet or exceed business needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with BBIS / TS and Product Partners.
  • Embrace and promote a positive environment that supports a diverse workplace.
  • A strong team player assisting with other administrative and projects as needed.
  • Service Level focused with a strong attention to detail and analytical ability to problem solve and find solutions strategic to the business in support of senior management.
  • Independently balance multiple projects within a dynamic environment
  • Leasing Experience is beneficial.
  • 5-7 yrs Project Management experience
  • University graduate preferred
