Job Description:

Summary:

Support 2nd-line oversight activities and monitoring of the FCRM (anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and anti-corruption) risk and compliance programs for the TE&CE segment. The successful candidate will report into a L11 and will cover regulatory change management, advisory and oversight activities for the TE&CE segment, which includes the Enterprise Payments team, Contact Centres, Collections, ATM, Digital Strategy, Management / Strategic Sourcing, Corporate Marketing and Enterprise Real Estate

Job Accountabilities:

  • Be part of a high performing team on delivery of AML/ATF, Sanctions, ABAC compliance programs and culture
  • Support the Senior Manager in providing strategic direction on a broad and diverse range of complex FCRM program activities
  • Proactively advise covered TD businesses of new and changed ABAC/AML/ATF/Sanctions regulatory and/or policy requirements and articulate the impact to their processes and controls
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of FCRM compliance programs
  • Provide insight, guidance, and recommendations and act as a specialized resource for financial crime risk management programs, particularly in the field of anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
  • Manage and provide oversight on day-to-day operations on behalf of FCRM
  • Support the team's participation in / responses to regulatory examinations and internal / external audits, reviewing, packaging, and tracking and providing information for department executive
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of business line FCRM processes, procedures and controls
  • Plan and execute on strategic activities, review, and communicate results, and adjust tactics accordingly
  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research, and recommend enhancements / modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations and work closely with team to execute and implement
  • Provide oversight on risk assessment processes as required
  • Keep current on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a risk, compliance, or 1B function would be preferred
