Job Description
In partnership with the AI/ML Business Managers, you will work with Layer 6 leadership team, Layer 6 team members and other stakeholders in:
1. Preparing strategy and other presentations and memos for Sr executives
2. Performing use case delivery portfolio governance, oversight and support
• Conducting analysis for standards compliance and for surfacing risks/issues
• Engaging with Product Owners to clarify delivery statuses and to address any issues
• Producing weekly portfolio /use case /resource reporting
• Assist with JIRA & Clarity record setup, updates and management
3. Helping to define, mature, formalize, document and maintain Layer 6's operational processes, guides and procedures, including formalizing enablement pod engagement / interaction
4. Managing, maintaining and administering group artifact / file repositories and sites (Confluence, Teams, SharePoint)
5. Supporting Layer 6 group financial planning and management
• Managing monthly Clarity forecasts, and tracking/reporting financial actuals and outlooks
• Providing resource allocation support
• Assisting with expense tracking, payment processing and financial reporting
6. Planning and chairing weekly Layer 6 steering meetings and other key meetings as required
7. Leading / supporting various Layer 6 operational and governance-related initiatives and activities
Qualifications
1. Working knowledge of AI/ML delivery processes
2. Experience working in and navigating a large matrix organization
3. Experience with business / technology project delivery and governance (using waterfall and agile methodologies), and has a good working knowledge of project delivery principles, practices, techniques, and tools (Jira, Clarity) - 3+ years
4. Business analysis experience (requirements solicitation, process modeling, policy / procedural documentation, cost and value estimation/assessment, etc.) - 3+ years
5. Experience with financial planning / management (nice-to-have)
6. A self-starter eager to take on different types of assignments who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a problem-solving mindset
7. Strong collaboration and communication skills to help uncover stakeholder needs and motivations, influence and secure the cooperation of key resources, resolve conflicts and negotiate positive outcomes
8. Adaptable to a variety of situations, individuals or groups. Understands and appreciates different and opposing perspectives
9. Resilient under pressure and tight timelines
10. Working knowledge of productivity and BI tools (MS Office PC software applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio; Tableau)
11. Experience in the Financial Services sector is an asset
12. Experience working for a consultancy is an asset
13. Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience
14. 4+ years of work experience
