Program Description

We are considering candidates interested in joining the Investment Banking Team based in New York, NY as part of TD Securities' 2025 Investment Banking Full-Time Analyst Program in the following groups.

Communication & Media:

• The Communications & Media Investment Banking team is one of the leading teams covering the communications and digital infrastructure landscape, providing an excellent track record of supporting both the strategic and financing needs of our clients.
• Candidates will attain broad exposure getting significant M&A experience along with differentiated knowledge of capital market solutions via close working relationship with related product partners.

Real Estate:

• The Real Estate Investment Banking group advises real estate companies, sponsors, and pension funds in the public and private markets.
• Analysts in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group will play a role in analyzing potential real estate investment opportunities, executing real estate and real estate-related acquisitions and dispositions, including assessing asset performance, conducting market due diligence, analyzing data and developing related reports and recommendations to support the group in executing the overall strategy.

Interview selection will be group specific.

Analysts can expect a fast-paced, demanding work environment that offers the opportunity to learn and grow professionally. Analysts work in small deal teams on a wide range of transactions. From initial client contact through closing a transaction, our analysts are an integral part of the transaction process; researching, valuing, pricing, marketing, and structuring transactions.

The Analyst Training Program, which begins in early July, provides a five-week introduction and orientation to the firm and its capabilities. The curriculum includes coursework in accounting, communication skills, debt and equity capital markets, Excel, financial analysis, modeling, and valuation.

Depth & Scope:

• Works within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer
• Assists in the analysis of clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities
• Assists in valuations of private and public companies
• Performs basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel
• Provides input to external client proposals and internal underwriting memos; assists in the preparation of client presentations based upon the above
• Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank
• Maintains confidentiality of client information
• Experienced working professional level role providing a broad range of support to the team

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree
• Series 7, 79 and 63 preferred
• 0-3 years of related experience
