As a Wire Desk working for Taylor Morrison you will be under direction, prepares daily wires for mortgage loan closings on different warehouse banks and haircut requirements. Reconcile incoming wires for mortgages sold to various investors

We trust that as a Wire Desk you will: (responsibilities)

  • Generate wire report for daily and monthly summary of outgoing wires
  • Prepare loan files and order wires for scheduled closings
  • Validate ABA and Account numbers on wire instructions
  • Enter Federal Reference numbers in Encompass to confirm the wires were sent
  • Research requests for extra wires and submit to corresponding warehouse bank
  • Balance wires if extra money was sent or received back from title
  • Work together as a team to ensure consistent workflow throughout the process and stay in constant communication with team members and management
  • Monitor wires that have been sent and request returns for closings that have been moved in accordance with company policy
  • Pay down warehouse lines related to investor purchase wires
  • Reconcile investor purchase advices
  • Research items that are different than expected on purchase advices
  • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Wire or Financial industry experience preferred
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal as well as written.
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping
  • Must meet wire deadlines

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

  • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher-level manager
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
