As an Assistant Land Controller working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for working alongside the Controller and review division's financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, headcount and more.
We trust that as an Assistant Land Controller you will: (responsibilities)
- Responsible for division reporting/month-end close processes related to land (weekly, month-end, quarterly) with review by Controller and VP Finance
- Responsible for periodic operational reports such as RSV, Lot Supply, Profit Participation, etc.
- Responsible for assistance with the annual budget/monthly/quarterly forecast process (includes maintenance of land and development spend)
- Responsible for supporting information for weekly cash flow forecasts
- Prepare monthly reconciliations between land budget software, general ledger, and offline schedules
- Responsible for accounting of land banks, joint ventures, etc.
- Manage outstanding municipal bonds and developer deposits
- Provide historical data to assist in new project underwriting
- Assist with review of property tax payments
- Responsible for miscellaneous management reporting
- Recruit, train, manage, and develop Land Accountant
- You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

About you:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Newstar and Soloman experience strongly preferred
- Past experience in an accounting position with homebuilder a plus
- Credit report in good standing

Physical Demands:
