Job Summary:

The Analyst, Contract Sales Technology Enablement role is a critical enabler to sales effectiveness, efficiency, and sales success. Being adaptable and using problem solving skills the Analyst will support the Contract Sales team through Technical Support and Training.

  • Strategic Support - Support the strategic initiatives defined by the sales leadership. Responsible for documenting use cases and business requirements to implement solutions in Salesforce and other technology platforms. Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, and Information Technology to design and manage delivery of technology tools/solutions.
  • Sales Enablement - Evaluation and enablement of technologies ensuring the technology is user-friendly, integrated, and supports the sales team; this includes Salesforce CRM, contract management, reporting portals, and AS400/mainframe platforms. Additionally, partner with teams to create and deliver training materials supporting the contract sales technology.
  • Data Analysis - Leverage sales data and analytics, the analyst will identify trends and insights and provide recommendations for process and technology improvements.
  • Contract Administration - Contracts reviewed for accuracy and compliance to Sysco's Contract Lifecycle Management governance policies. The analyst is the initial point of contact supporting the Icertis platform and processes.

Process Optimization - Continually review the process and technologies supporting the sales team and make recommendations for improving process workflows and reducing manual effort.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Support - capturing business requirements and design using Confluence and managing the backlog planning using Jira software. Engaging business users to develop training documents and assist with deployment and adoption of new and existing capabilities within the SalesForce platform.
  • Sales Enablement - Responsible for evaluating sales enablement technologies and processes focused on technology and process improvement to Sysco's topline performance.
  • Data and Analytics - Partner with business users to capture reporting requirements and engage the data analytics/reporting teams to develop and manage delivery of new reports. Additionally, provides training and support for internal/external users on the reporting platforms, such as, My Sysco Reporting, Vision Reporting, and Tableau.
  • Process Optimization - Continual review, ideation, and documentation for improvements using methods such as Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies.
  • Contact Administration - Primary support for Contract Lifecycle management. Responsible for Icertis platform administration, Contract Governance, and adherence to related Sysco processes.

Education Required:

High School Diploma

Education Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field of study or job experience

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years experience in developing business requirements
  • 3-5 years experience using Salesforce
  • Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, Project, Power BI, SharePoint

Experience Preferred:

3+ year Salesforce Administration Technical Writing/Training, Contract Lifecycle Management support using Icertis or other CLM tool, Open Text experience. Agile - Scrum, Tableau, or other reporting. Foodservice, specifically multi-unit sales; Confluence and/or Jira

Licenses/Certifications Preferred:

Salesforce Certifications, Six Sigma or other process certification, Certified Business Analyst

Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate level Excel, or other reporting platform
  • SUS, AS400, RME
  • Technical Writing
