About the role
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to build, optimize, drive enhancements, and maintain mission-critical applications that allow our business partners to manage business processes proactively. You will work under minimal general supervision as an individual contributor and partner with others in the:
- Design and estimation of development efforts based on high-level requirements.
- Evaluation of functional and technical problems and opportunities.
- Configuration of automated workflow systems.
What you'll do
- Translate user requirements, write technical specifications, and work closely with development resources on use cases, flowcharts, and technical design.
- Analyze and streamline business processes through appropriate tools and methods.
- Design and configure workflows based on business needs and requirements.
- Test solutions for other analysts and developers, including manual and automated test suite enhancements.
- Provide day-to-day production support, including troubleshooting issues and analyzing and revisiting existing system logic.
- Help support developers and testers during system development to understand requirements.
- Provide procedural and technical guidance to the team to address the technical specifications and troubleshoot and perform problem resolution on the most challenging problems.
- Utilize systems analysis and design tools and methodologies across multiple platforms.

Salary Range: $73,200 - $122,700 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program target of 5%.
Requirements
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields. Equivalent work experience may be accepted.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- 2+ years in systems analysis and design.
- Strong business and technical understanding of relevant technologies and systems.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks with little direction and apply strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical peers with a customer focus
- An active learner and creative problem solver
- Ability to work as an individual contributor or team member.
- Experience in Scrum, Agile methodologies, and DevOps culture.
- Experience with workflow and process modeling.
- Experience working in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of or experience with loosely coupled, serverless architecture.
- Experience with Low-Code/No-Code development platforms
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, including familiarity with Postman, OpenAPI (Swagger) specification, and JSON.
- Experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Experience working in a cloud environment.
Preferred Credentials
- Insurance or financial services industry background.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or equivalent experience.
