Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Senior Treasury Analyst!
About the role
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of cash management, forecasting, reporting and analysis across multiple divisions. This includes both short and long term planning and execution of cash management strategies. As a key member of the Treasury team, you will have the opportunity to participate in and/or lead company-wide initiatives and projects.
What you'll do in this role
- Drive weekly cash forecasting processes to deliver meaningful and detailed forecast and variance reporting.
- Execute daily cash management responsibilities to ensure proper liquidity across all of Symetra's bank accounts.
- Partner with Symetra leadership to support the execution of strategic objectives.
- Support Treasury team by performing and/or overseeing other key functions that may include system administration, bank relationship management, and project work as needed.

Compensation
Salary Range: $73,200 - $122,000 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program.
Requirements
Your education, skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience in finance, business, or operations; insurance industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) encouraged to apply.
- Highly motivated individual, with a strong desire to exceed expectations, who is looking for a challenging and fast paced work environment.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel. Good decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be innovative in resolving issues and improving processes.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to interact effectively and build relationships with various levels of management, staff, and external vendors.
- Goal oriented with a track record of driving through to completion. Ability to work a flexible schedule as need arises.
- Critical attention to detail. Ability to manage stressful situations and changing priorities effectively.
