Reports to: Head of Global Training Services
Role Objectives
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to power customer knowledge of SUSE's open source software, advise on SUSE training services portfolio, carry out IT
skills gap analysis, and deliver technical private training while leveraging authorized SUSE Training Partners. Your in-depth knowledge of SUSE
technologies and services offer the highest level of service for customer training needs.
You will gain in-depth knowledge of SUSE products and solutions and demonstrate experience working with products such as SUSE Linux Enterprise
Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, SUSE Manager, Kubernetes, Rancher Prime, and NeuVector Prime open source technologies.
This is a senior technical role, reporting to the Head of Global Training Services.
Focus Areas
Support customer needs for SUSE training and certification by acting as the subject matter expert
Power customer knowledge of SUSE's open source software through state of art delivery of technical training
Help customer understand their IT skills gap through effective analysis; design and maintain the process
Collaborate with SUSE global services, training and product teams to achieve SUSE business and customer satisfaction goals
Ideal Candidate
o At least five years of experience delivering IT training in-person and remotely
o Advanced technical knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes technologies
o Experience in high-tech or software company
o Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
o Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory
o Second European language is an advantage
o Experience in working in International, multi-cultural environment o Positive attitude, proactive problem solver, adaptable
o Detail oriented, organized, and efficient in their ability to multi-task
o Strong understanding of IT software services business
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
o Relationship builder and ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when working in high pressure environments
o Some international travel will be required for business meetings o May at times be required to work outside of standard business hours
