Distribution Manager for NA, Integrated Solutions Sales

Job Description

Responsibilities

Our CRO (=Revenue!) team is audacious. We inspire our people, customers, partners and

The successful candidate with join a high performing team of professionals that are sharing our
Open-Source expertise with what we call Integrated Solution Providers. These partnerships
are with companies we, and the industry, commonly referred to as ISVs (Independent Software
Vendors), IHV (Independent Hardware Vendors), MSP (Managed Service Providers) and
Embedded relationships. We are looking to expand the scale of our business by working with
Distributors in North America to help us simplify and grow the quantity and value of these types
of relationships. Whether we call them Value Added Distributors or MSP Resellers - that is
types of companies we are looking to engage with to grow our mutual businesses.
• Recruit and onboard new Distribution Partners with SUSE.
• Work with existing Distribution Partners to include these additional types of
Partnerships/routes to market.
• Accountable for business growth
• Creates, drives, supports, and influences activities that drive new business/pipeline.
• Builds lasting, consultative relationships with Distribution accounts.
• Coach and support Distributor sales teams, along with fellow SUSE Partner Executives,
to find & develop SUSE opportunities.

• Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making company investments in
their business, market, or segment.

About You
• University or Bachelor's degree required
• High GSD (Get Stuff Done) mindset - doesn't wait to be told what to do. Takes action
and has high sense of urgency.
• 5+ years' experience in a Technology sales role - quota carrying.
• Existing relationships with NA Distributors.
• Collaboration is at the heart of SUSE's values. Strong and successful collaboration with
and across the entire organisation is a necessity to ensure success.
• Industry Acumen - Good understanding of Technology industry players and who fits
where, does what...today.
• Solution Selling - Approaches selling from a business solution perspective to ensure that
company products and services accurately address the client's true business need in
terms of type, scope, level.
• Trainer/Positioning/Strategy - Understands SUSE's products/subscriptions well enough
to help position and educate where we can bring value to a customer.
• Business and Financial Acumen - Exhibits authoritative business and financial acumen
to develop meaningful business recommendations; Understands the portfolio aspect of
the company's products/services and how the businesses work together.
• Problem Solving - Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that
ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.
