Mission of Role
Position will report to Senior S&OP Manager India. Incumbent will drive the demand forecasting process and facilitate the Demand Review as part of the effective implementation of S&OP across the assigned market. Will work with Supply Chain Fulfilment to ensure the join-up between demand and supply within S&OP framework.
• Run the Demand Planning process, acting as an effective interface with the sales organization to ensure a robust and disciplined joined up process.
• Responsible for Demand Planning Clinics & efficient Commercial interaction as part of the local S&OP Process and a smooth volume to value transition
• This role is also an interface to the one level up S&OP and be part of the overall INDIA S&OP team
• Proactively communicates potential risks and opportunities at volume and value level
• Coordinates with regional planning and works closely with innovation and international S&OP teams to ensure consistency of the process and optimal usage of existing reports and regional cascade documents, with a key focus on demand planning, supply planning, innovation, slobs, portfolio management
• Partner with finance to ensure alignment to the one number principle creating the base for the IR process
Role Responsibilities
• Highly business-focused role, will review statistical forecast (from lens of qualitative market/consumer insights and business delivery (top-down) targets)
• Review & maintain R&O on monthly basis with relevant stakeholders
• Prepare responses to demand plan R&Os / new demands and challenges
• Analyze demand forecast accuracy/bias and identify root cause and drive improvement with commercial team
• Collaborate, communicate and align different functions on "one plan"
• Responsible for full horizon forecasts for the entire range of products with constant monitoring of the sales
• Support S&OP Sr manager to prepare for the S&OP cycle
Relationships
• Reporting to: Senior Manager, S&OP & Demand Planning
• Key Interfaces: India Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial Finance, International S&OP, Global CoE
• Role Dimensions: Local with overlaps on global projects

Education/Experience
• Graduate / MBA degree
• Previous experience in demand & supply planning, (Beer/Wine/Spirits) industry, beverage or FMCG
• Highly proficient in MS Excel (advanced), Office Application & SAP APO/IBP-DP & HANA reporting
• 5-7 years
