Role Responsibilities
Provide a world-class experience for visitors to the Cruzan Rum Distillery through engagement, brand knowledge, sales, and visibility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
o Act as an ambassador for Cruzan Rum and St. Croix while at the distillery
o Maintain high standards of good housekeeping and visual appeal at the Visitor Center
o Offer friendly and polite conversation to guests regarding the distillery, our products and St. Croix
o Perform light janitorial work to maintain sanitary and visually appealing environment
o Perform a daily review of the tour route prior to opening for business each day

o Conduct walking tours of the distillery in a manner that engages visitors while supplying accurate information about the distillery
o Serve drinks to guests while adhering to drink program limitations and policies
o Assist with replenishing inventory and housekeeping duties as needed
o Accurately receive rum from Gift Store ensuring proper entry into POS system
Gift Store/Tour Sales
o Sell merchandise and product from gift store in a friendly efficient manner; upsell where possible
o Restock and replenish inventory to ensure gift store is fully stocked at all times
o Ensure that all products are properly tagged and organized to abide with 5s standards
o Count and receive new inventory to maintain POS accuracy
o Participate in monthly inventory process •
VIP and Legacy Tour Programs
o Assist with set-up and disassembly of VIP and Legacy Tours
o Serve specialty cocktails to VIP and Legacy personnel
Internal Hospitality
o Provide hospitality-based assistance with interdepartmental events
o Serve drinks during functions at the facility
Warehouse Management
o Maintain organizational structure of warehouse items when relaying products to and from the Gift Store
o Report low inventory levels to management
Environmental Health and Safety
o Report unsafe conditions at Visitor Center and along tour route immediately
o Ensure safety of visitors and immediately respond to any visitor health or safety concerns
Off-Site Tastings
o Travel with and assist management during off-site events •
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma/ GED preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) valid Health Card from VI Department of Health
• Must be willing and able to work flexible scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays when required
• Must be trained or willing to be trained in First Aid, CPR & AED
• Strong computer skills to include Point of Sales (POS) software, spreadsheets, and word-processing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Exposure to excessive heat & humidity, intermittent to constant noise, vibration, dust and slippery or uneven walking surfaces. Will need to be able to climb stairs, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
• Exposure to typical household cleaning chemicals during the course of light janitorial work
MOBILITY Limited travel may be required
