Job description
In this role you will become a relentless advocate for consumer centricity and a trusted business advisor to drive growth for Suntory Global Spirits (SGS). You will advise on brand strategy related to consumer brand foundations, communications, innovation, and brand health. You will be responsible for shaping, executing, and embedding primary research, connecting the dots between existing and new data and information to build compelling insights, and making recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders on business strategies that will drive growth for Suntory Global Spirits' categories and brands.

- Opportunity to work cross functionally, gaining knowledge and developing relationships across multiple business units (Brand, Marketing, Media, Global and US, Category Management) at SGS
- Leverage and apply data from multiple sources to answer business questions and address business needs, including qualitative and quantitative research, secondary research, scan and HH panel data and competitive intelligence.
- Synthesize information and data to establish knowledge and facts, enabling new perspectives on the category, consumers while identifying innovation and communication opportunities
- Collaborate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, distilling insights and research into actionable recommendations cross-functional partners can act on
- Build a learning agenda fueled by deep understanding of consumers, brands and business that will deliver on short-term and long-term business objectives
- Provide consumer understanding and trends to shape and fuel annual brand growth planning
- Ensure marketing and brand objectives are grounded in consumer insight, by representing the voice of the consumer
- Lead market research and analytics work from design to implementation to socialization, ensuring work is actionable and timely
- Manage and develop relationships with external research suppliers
- Bachelor's Degree in Market Research, Data Science, Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of CPG experience across Consumer Insights
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and visualize data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent self-starter with ability to identify, create, and lead projects
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities
- Knowledge of a shopper panel platform (i.e Nielsen/IRI), syndicated data
- Design and develop clear, engaging, and effective consumer-facing surveys to gather actionable insights
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Related experience in Spirits, Wine, or Beer preferred, but not required
- Ability to travel up to 15%
