Role Responsibilities
Premium brands management - Scotch & Japanese Premium Whisky (JPW)
* Brands in this role: Scotch(Auchentoshan, Bowmore, Laphroaig) & JPW(Yamazaki, Hibiki, Hakushu & others)
- Understand consumers through self-study, field checks and consumer/market researches.
- Identify business opportunities based on a deep understanding of the evolving consumers.
- Localize the brand framework for responsible brands.

- Co-develop (with the Head of Marketing) and propose an annual marketing plan that is in-line with the local and international long-term growth strategy.
• Consumer Marketing: Communication, POSM, ATL communication, Social Media communication, BTL activations and etc.
• Trade Activations: VAP, Consumer promotions and etc.
• Align with all counterparts; All SGS KOREA functions, EA team, global brand house teams and etc.
• Deliver BI spending plan based on the plan
• Coordinate with Commercial team and Finance team to create profit targets.
- Build a detailed annual execution plan and execute with maximum results
• Create and adjust the timeline; according to evolving opportunities.
• Set goals, analyze results and propose next steps for all projects.
• Immediately follow-up strong successes.
• Manage Marketing BI spending and its' effectiveness while aligning with Finance and Commercial.
• Make sure both Consumer and Trade Marketing activities are supporting sales.
- Manage a high profit pricing strategy based on a strong alliance between Commercial and Finance
- Continuously propose new ideas, try them in small scale and check potential to go bigger.
- Identify and develop agencies that have core competencies relevant to SGS Korea Marketing needs.
- Monitor the evolving market environment, consumers and SGS Korea sales results. Quickly adjust execution plan if needed. Propose strategic change if needed.
- Develop a strong partnership with the Commercial team, especially the mid managers, to continuously deliver maximum synergy between Commercial and Marketing activities.
- Manage and support all operations for responsible brand with the operation team.
- Maintain strong relationship with international counterparts and continuously balance international and local needs through close and frequent coordination.
- Accumulate learnings from all activities and build a solid insight for future planning.
- 7-12 years of experiences as a Brand marketing role in FMCG companies is a must.
- Education background on Marketing or Business is preferred. Actual work experience related to Marketing activities are more preferred.
- Financial/business acumen
- Fluent level of English proficiency required for both written and verbal communication.
