POSITION SUMMARY
The Strategy and Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for turning data into critical knowledge that can be used by leadership to make sound business decisions. This analyst will be responsible for managing several suites of analytics for stakeholders. They will build a strong understanding of the business, relationships with key management stakeholders, and will use our data architecture to proactively conduct impactful analysis supporting the future growth and operational success of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support corporate goals and objectives through targeted analysis prioritized with Customer Experience stakeholders
- Fulfill adhoc data requests for managers and other stakeholders within set deadlines and communicate out on progress & completion
- Define business requirements with key stakeholders up front, and set expectations for development timeline
- Manage build out of each analytics project, strategically checking in with stakeholders throughout development to garner feedback and ensure impactful end product
- Launch & train key stakeholders on new reporting or analysis
- Ensure the continued sustainability and accuracy of key operational dashboards
- Support data architecture improvement
- Identify actionable insights or areas of improvement that are easily accessible to users across the organization
- Work with business & process management teams to improve organizational process using data
- Work with BI Tech team to implement & improve upon data analysis processes, models, and tools
- Build a solid understanding of Sunrun data sources and associated business processes in order to provide Subject Matter Expertise and advise leaders
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a technical BI analyst role
- Proficient understanding of data architecture and analysis tools
- Intermediate familiarity with database querying language (SQL)
- Proficient with BI tools & data visualization platforms (i.e. Tableau, Looker, Data Studio)
- Additional coding skills highly desirable (R, Python)
- Ability to translate operational business needs into data and IT requirements - conduct requirement gathering/metrics definition workshops with business stakeholders
- Ability to present complex information in an easy to understand and actionable format for non-technical users
- Solid knowledge of process improvement methodologies, software development lifecycle
- Ability to define and organize tasks, conduct prioritization within team, and deliver in a timely fashion
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Strong desire to understand the operation of the business and root cause for outcomes
- Collaborative, working with colleagues from across the organization to drive outcomes and share knowledge
- Acute awareness & ability to manage to deadlines
- Propensity to follow through when faced with challenges, and drive toward resolution

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$72,204.30 to $96,272.40
Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
