Overview
The Asset Management Analyst supports Sunrun's Project Finance department by reporting on residential solar assets to fund investors and driving operational efficiency. The analyst will become a subject matter expert on numerous business processes across the lifecycle of our solar assets in order to effectively synthesize key operational and financial data for external reporting. The Analyst should be comfortable working across departments to influence workflows that benefit Sunrun's fund investors. This role is best suited to individuals excited about business processes, process improvements, and leveraging Sunrun's data warehouse. This role also requires an interest in learning about complex financing facilities (Tax Equity funds, term loans, ABS, etc.), an interest in learning and applying automation techniques (including basic coding, especially with SQL), a keen eye for details, and the ability to support critical company deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Act as a portfolio assistant to set up and execute every other day asset sales
- Track delivery and compliance of all fund requirements & reports to internal/external parties
- Build and maintain recurring reports using Excel, Snowflake, Tableau, and Salesforce
- Levage Sunrun's Data Warehouse to automate and simplify recurring tasks and reports
- Collaborate with Fund Managers on ad hoc analysis and managing investor relationships
- Engage with groups across the company to operationalize data management
- Review fund legal transaction documents for determining fund and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field
- Minimum of 1-year work experience
- Proficient with Excel and Google Business applications
- Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, Salesforce (strongly desired)
- Basic-Intermediate programming experience, particularly with SQL (strongly desired)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to pick up and retain a wide breadth of knowledge
- Effective communicator and collaborator across multiple levels/functions
- Acute awareness & ability to manage deadlines
- Ability to work with & synthesize large amounts of data into understandable, meaningful reports
- Highly organized, self-directed and process-oriented with ability to act autonomously
- Propensity to follow through and drive toward resolution
- Agile and adaptable; able to handle a fast-changing landscape and think on your toes
- Curiosity and interest in developing automation and coding skills
- Comfort or interest in reading legal documents
- Familiarity with general accounting principles (desired, not required)
- Solar industry knowledge (desired, not required)

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$74,572.31 to $99,429.75
