Job Description

The Social Media Senior Associatewill primarily be responsible for Success Academy's social media accounts; developing creative content for social networks, monitoring and reporting on performance, and handling community management across channels. This role works closely with members of the SA Creative Agency to ideate and generate new content and growth opportunities that meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and an innate desire to stay current on social media channels and trends in order to develop effective content for our audiences.

• Maintain social media calendar, draft, and publish copy and content across social media channels (IG, FB, X (Twitter), TT, LI).
• Engage with social media audiences as part of community management and outbound engagement - you'll represent SA's voice and values across all platforms.
• Ideate and develop social media content for multiple channels, always brainstorming and developing content to increase brand awareness and elevate social strategy.
• Support school social media managers and manage their weekly, monthly, and quarterly outcomes and deliverables.
• Partner with the Marketing team support paid efforts on platforms like TikTok, Meta, and Instagram, focusing on scholar and talent acquisition.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functioning teams (Growth Marketing, Video & Photo, Scholar Talent / Athletics, Internal Communications & Studio teams) for ongoing social support.
• Leverage paid media reporting alongside organic data, to guide optimizations and weekly requests for ad creation.
• Analyze and report out social metrics to optimize social strategy and inform stakeholders. You'll be the go-to for insights and benchmarks, always looking for ways to improve and adjust strategies based on data.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of Organic Social Media experience
• A minimum of one year Paid Media Experience

• Passion for social media and tuned in to the latest trends, platforms, and developments
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of social media industry best practices and KPIs
• Analytical eye that can digest, report, and act on data gathered
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content and storytelling
• Impeccable attention to detail and strong communication skills for both internal and external audiences
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, collaborative environment where innovation is sought, prioritized and rewarded
• Passion for Success Academy's mission supporting children and families, mostly from underserved communities across New York City
• Flexibility and understanding that social is always on and because of this, working outside of traditional hours is occasionally needed for monitoring and covering events (before / after work school events, on WFH days, evenings, and weekends).

• Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Brandwatch.
• Experience with social ad platforms (ex: Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Manager, etc.)
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, managing multiple accounts.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Proficiency in content creation and editing software.
