What You Will Do

Stryker is seeking a tenacious, customer service-focused Senior Professional Services Project Manager to manage customer engagements from initial transition from Sales through final delivery and transition to the Support team. This role will lead internal project teams in the delivery of high-quality solutions across all Vocera product lines that meet and exceed business and customer satisfaction metrics and satisfy budget and schedule requirements. This role reports to the Sr. Regional Manager, Professional Services.

  • Schedule, facilitate, and lead the transition process from the Sales team to the Services team
  • Manage the assigned delivery teams to ensure the project meets the scope, schedule, quality and budget expectations
  • Proactively plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, critical paths, deliverables, and accurate revenue forecasting using industry standard tools
  • Ensure delivery process aligns with standards established through the Vocera Solutions Deployment Methodology
  • Manage, track and report on compliance to project budgets, drive project change orders as necessary, and generally be accountable for the project P&L
  • Proactively evaluate project risk by taking full responsibility for problem resolution, and ensuring, when necessary, that escalation occurs to keep projects on track
  • Manage project communications, including facilitating regular project status meetings with all partners, documenting meeting minutes as necessary, and managing all ongoing action items
  • Ensure that all project deliverables and documentation are archived appropriately and in a timely manner, as well as satisfy established project review and audit processes
  • Perform follow-up customer surveys to assess delivery quality and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct project close-out activities, including transitioning processes back to Sales and Support; Elicit, compile, and share post-delivery lessons and feedback
  • Regularly assist and mentor fellow Project Managers on best practices and processes
  • Manage and motivate cross functional project team members for excellence in execution ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and smooth handoffs occur

What You Will Need


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (MBA desirable) required
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in a Professional Services organization preferably within a software company
  • Proven track record of managing PS engagements in large enterprise accounts
  • Experience managing large project budgets
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, sales, and internal project teams across multiple geographies and diverse cultures
  • Healthcare/ Clinical Project Management experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10% throughout North America, with the possibility of occasional international travel
  • Must be located in Canada
