What you will do:
- Meet hourly production goals, adhere to schedules, and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with support staff and coordinate resources with other team leads.
- Train and certify team members in essential job facets, ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Identify and document problems through a structured process.
- Manage shift transitions, communicate effectively, and serve as a backup for leadership.
- Assist in onboarding temporary employees and new hires.
- Provide constructive, real-time feedback on team members and align with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety, positivity, and collaboration, identifying potential resource needs.
What you need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience, which can include manufacturing, distribution, or logistics experience.
- Moderate PC skills.
- Ability to build and/or operate in production to meet pace requirements (up to 50% of the time).
- Ability to perform tasks involving prolonged sitting or standing, as appropriate, and may be required to reach, push, or pull to accomplish job tasks.
- Ability to meet work schedule and meet overtime requirements.
