What you will do:
• Responsible for competitor analysis and surveillance through various channels
• Understands what current and potential customers need to drive value in the portfolio
• Deploys different approaches and methodologies of market research. Familiar with the most common types of qualitative and quantitative research in the design of market research: focus groups, one-on-one interviews, conjoint analysis and cluster analysis
• Understands key products and services in the industry
• Synthesizes market trends on sources of volume and strategic focus
• Creates a standardized way to track KPIs as well as a consistent method to report back to the business
• Recognizes and assesses problems, opportunities and methods for improving existing reports
• Maintains and organizes market insights related data
• Assists in evaluation of RFPs and recommendation of vendor decision
• Delivers high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build partnership to achieve business objectives
• Effectively manages key relationships and work activity
• May coach and mentor market insights personnel
• Contributes specific analyses to aid in the construction of the marketing plan
• Uses knowledge of existing projects to identify potential new areas to investigate
What you will need:
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of work experience required
• 2+ years market research experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
• MBA preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
• Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
