  • For the SS 2024, we provide an opportunity for a master's thesis in the field of navigated spinal surgery.
  • You will have the chance to develop prototypes for our "Advanced Guidance Spine Workflow," allowing you to explore and apply the latest technologies in Machine Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, and interactive systems.
  • You will support our R&D department in developing software components for medical navigation, conducting independent research in the operating room environment to determine how these innovative ideas can be applied to create value.

That makes you stand out

  • You are pursuing a master's degree in computer science, computer graphics, medical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
  • You have gained experience with test setups and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java), as well as libraries (OpenCV, Unity, VTK).
  • You are eager to independently tackle challenging tasks in the field of Guidance Technologies.
  • Among friends and fellow students, you are known for your initiative and flexibility.
  • You are proficient in using common MS Office applications and have excellent English language skills.
  • Your independent work style, high level of motivation and dedication, as well as your willingness to take on responsibilities quickly, set you apart.

  • Wir bieten für das Wintersemester 2023/24 eine Masterarbeit im Bereich navigierter Wirbelsäulenchirurgie an.
  • Du hast die Möglichkeit Prototypen für unseren "Advanced Guidance Spine Workflow" zu entwickeln und kannst dabei unter anderem neueste Technologien aus den Bereichen Machine Vision, Human-Computer-Interaction und interaktive Systeme kennenlernen und anwenden.
  • Du unterstützt unsere R&D Abteilung bei der Entwicklung von Softwarekomponenten für die medizinische Navigation und führst eigenständig Recherchen im OP-Umfeld durch, um herauszufinden, wie diese innovativen Ideen wertschöpfend anzuwenden sind.

  • Du bist gespannt darauf selbstständig mit anspruchsvollen Aufgaben im Bereich Guidance Technologies auseinanderzusetzen.
  • Du bist unter Freund:innen und Studienkolleg:innen für Eigeninitiative und Flexibilität bekannt.
  • Du bist sicher im Umgang mit den gängigen MS Office Anwendungen und verfügst über sehr gute Englischkenntnisse.
  • Eine eigenständige Arbeitsweise, ein hohes Maß an Motivation und Engagement sowie die Bereitschaft schnell Verantwortung zu übernehmen zeichnen Dich aus.
