What you will do:
- Design & develop designs for Legacy products (sustenance Engineering) using engineering principles and medical device Design Control process.
- Experience in leading the team, people management activities.
- Collaborate with NPI and Verification and Validation Team to execute projects .
- Good Understanding of Project management and Product Management .
- Experience in handling Mechanical, Electronics Hardware, Software, and System level Sustenance Engineering activities.
- Value improvement and design optimization activities.
- Knowledge of Engineering System with good understanding of Software Design Cycle and Hardware design Cycle.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and work with suppliers & contractors.
- Knowledge of Developing designs to meet requirements for performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
What you need:
- 10- 12 years of work experience, with Bachelors/Masters in engineering.
- Preferred to have candidate with Mechatronics, Robotics, Biomechanics background . Open for Mechanical Candidates with Electronics hardware and software Knowledge .
- Prior experience in leading the team, people management activities.
- PMP Certifications are desirable.
- Understanding of the Medical Device Design control process and sustenance activities .
- Good Understanding of Change Control process, especially ECN/ECR Process.
- Experience in Attending the Change control board and Change Implementation Board Meetings.
- knowledge and understanding of engineering practices and design principles.
- Knowledge of Value Improvement Process and design optimization.
- Actively participate in cross functional teams.
- Ability to apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to product design.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate strategy, plans and technical information to team members.
