Who You Are:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Web Marketing to join our Marketing team to manage the day-to-day of Storyblock’s web marketing experience for both our e-commerce and B2B funnels. This includes but is not limited to defining, executing and owning our marketing website strategy in close partnership with our SEO, Demand Gen, Content Marketing, Design, Product, and Engineering teams/vendors.
Success will be measured by e-commerce bookings and B2B pipeline by ensuring optimal site experiences aligned with SEO, CRO and UX KPIs. This includes strategy and implementation coordination across various internal and external partners. The role requires a passion for customer acquisition, deep experience in the world of web best practices, ongoing site evolution needs, content strategy, and opportunities for website enhancements through the use of data to drive traffic growth and new digital experiences for users.

This role will be a ‘go-to’ web marketing expert, responsible for developing tests, uncovering optimizations, and building forward-looking site strategies. The ideal candidate will be a seamless collaborator with strong interpersonal skills capable of leading cross-functional teams and partners with little coaching needed. They will be a critical thinker and problem solver, and go beyond their day-to-day role to understand their impact on company-wide functions, to influence broader marketing strategy. They will contribute to overall marketing forecasting and proactively update and deliver against channel OKRs.
This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
What You Will Do:
- Day-to-day owner and oversight of strategy plus execution of the entire marketing website experience.
- Managing external vendors and contributing directly in platforms/tools on the evolution of the marketing website experience.
- Optimize key marketing pages with CMS tool(s) as well as execute strategy with SEO and CRO best practices based on learnings from reporting and analysis.
- Concept, execute, and measure initiatives to improve web traffic, engagement, and revenue from both our e-commerce and B2B lines of business
- Leverage analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hubspot, Google Sheets, internal dashboards, Excel, and more to extract insights on site performance.
- Proactively evolve marketing-owned site architecture (Resources, Business, etc.) and experience in close coordination with core domain functionality led by Product.
- Stays up to date with algo updates, website trends, and identifies emerging opportunities that fit within our existing technologies and well as new to Storyblocks tech.
- Update and deliver against channel OKRs (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) with little hands-on oversight needed.
- Builds strong collaborative relationships outside of Marketing across Product, Design, and Engineering teams
- Bring team members along in their decision-making process and garner support for the proposed solution.
- Collaborates with the other members of the Marketing team to identify opportunities for cross-collaboration, streamlining, and shared learning.
- Report findings and recommendations to Marketing and Storyblocks senior leadership.
What You Bring to the Table:
Required
- 7-10 years of web marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of growing, engaging, and converting traffic and website experiences in a competitive landscape.
- Extensive experience with large and complex sites - covering millions of dynamically created pages, internal search/filters, and video-heavy content either agency or in-house.
- Proficiency in WordPress with working knowledge in front-end programming, including CSS, HTML, Java, etc.
- Experience in partnering directly with Product and Engineering teams for ticket creation, grooming support, and verification of desired impact.
- Hands-on experience managing directly and with a vendor or in-house major areas of a successful website(s).
- Knowledge of customer journey funnels, content strategy, on-page optimization, competitive research, core web vitals, and other key SEO fundamentals.
- Past execution of the conception and creation of new pages, content, and animations that align to marketing campaigns, marketing needs, and company initiatives.
- Maintained a roadmap for marketing web pages that align with the broader Product-driven company roadmap.
- Hands-on tracking experience with traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics; strong analytical skills and ability to work towards larger business goals.
- Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional working groups to deliver against and beat team and organizational goals.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and web tools such as SEMrush, Figma, WordPress etc.
- Understanding and experience building out digital customer journey.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced technology-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to turn analysis into action, and execute on time, with little oversight needed.
- Ability to turn organizational goals into actionable goals.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google spreadsheets and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort in attacking open-ended problems.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong track record of academic performance.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Hubspot & Builder.io or similar
- Experience with e-commerce and B2B business models
- Experience in JIRA, Asana or similar platforms
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and event tagging
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Botify, SEMRush, etc.)
- Experience with conducting CRO testing
- Agency and/or consultant management experience

For each title, we consistently apply competitive salary bands based on market data and benchmarks which are reviewed twice a year. What you’ve been paid before, fear of conflict, or willingness to negotiate does not play a part in determining your pay.
- The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $146,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members. Total compensation for this position includes equity.
