About the Human Resource Coordinator position:
The HR/People Coordinator is part of the local on-the-ground HR support team at Stord’s ATL FC, centered around a strong collaboration with local leadership and the warehouse staff. As a people advocate, the Coordinator enables a positive, engaging employee experience as part of the People Team. The Coordinator supports the People Generalist, ensuring each facility is promoting the same Stord culture and employee experience and adjusting to the challenges and opportunities of a startup environment. The Coordinator handles day-to-day administrative HR functions for the warehouse and also proactively works alongside the People team to continuously improve the employee experience.
This is an on-site hourly role in Union City, Georgia.
Expected Hours Per Week: 40
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the People team to project a positive work environment for every single warehouse associate in the building. Focus on promoting an inclusive environment that is engaging, enabling and energizing, and one where our associates can thrive
- Support staffing partner and project manager to continuously improve relationship and environment for contingent labor with engagement activities, temp conversions and assisting with onboarding
- Develop fluency in HR policies and help the business in implementation, adherence and compliance
- Represent the voice of the associate in the building and with the People team, advocating for their needs using feedback/data received from conversations, surveys, requests
- Embrace the start up environment with eternal optimism and a learn and iterate mindset to bring new ideas to make Stord great!
What a Coordinator in action looks like:
- Daily on-site support with all people functions including time card administration, benefits support, HR systems assistance
- Regular meetings with People Ops Generalist to align on daily/weekly/monthly priorities for the building
- Collaborate with entire 1P People team on people initiatives to drive network wide culture
- Full onboarding of new hires including new hire paperwork assistance, leading weekly on site orientation and ongoing training for new hires
- In partnership with Generalist and 1P People team, support quarterly pulse checks for engagement and focus areas on the warehouse side, and review of annual engagement survey and supporting actions plan
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answer frequently asked questions from associates relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- May assist with simple payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors.
- Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, FC-wide meetings, employee engagement events and celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A warehouse with engaged associates, effectively empowered managers, and a productive and positive environment for all.
- A true partnership between the Generalist and Site Leader for continuous improvement, delegated ownership, and shared commitment to Stord success with a strong understanding of HR’s function in maintaining a safe, compliant and positive work environment
- Identify opportunities for improvement, create contingency plans, manage multiple priorities, emphasis on problem solving and organizing logistics.
- Ability to keep the team organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as a People "go to" person for all areas
