Job Description
Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) develops and oversees a global program that governs the business in the creation of effective and risk appropriate continuity and recovery solutions to support the continuation of critical processing and servicing of our clients. The ERO Third-Party Resiliency Vice President (VP) reports to Third Party Resiliency Managing Director who is responsible for assessing State Street's Enterprise Critical Third Parties (ECTPs) capabilities for business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities to recover in the event of a disruption, and alignment to State Street's corporate-wide operational resilience and business continuity programs. This individual will serve as a liaison between Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), ECTPs, Business, and Business Continuity teams and third parties on third party continuity related matters.

As a Third-Party Resiliency VP you will:
- Co-lead workstream on the development of third party contingency planning and testing for extended disruptions
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress of third party contingency planning and testing for extended disruptions, including unmitigated risks
- Support Third Party Resiliency team by participating in the Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) secondary review process and evaluating test results to identify potential Third-Party continuity risks and engage with the third parties on continuity matters
- Communicate with Engagement Managers, Business, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) teams and third parties regarding issues discovered during DDQ reviews.
- Assist with creating and/or updating program standards, procedures and reporting third-party contingency planning and testing for extended disruptions
- Create training materials and deliver training
- Support ERO management to validate that Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, and regulatory requirements are adequately addressed for State Street's Critical Third Party engagements
- Participate in enhanced governance for third party operational risks
- Evaluate remediation for issues or weaknesses in the third-party's resilience capabilities and approve closure
- Execute on additional program responsibilities as requested
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' Financial Services, Consulting experience a plus
- Project management, analysis and reporting experience beneficial
- Minimum 4 years Third-Party Risk Management and/or Business Continuity experience preferred
- Proven communication, interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior management
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple organizations to reach common goals
- Experience with supervising staff and processes is preferred
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
