Who we are looking for

Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We're driving the company's digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence and robotics process automation. We are looking for an experienced Controls Assurance resource to help maintain and mature our Technology Risk Management Programs.

What you will be responsible for

As Technology Risk, Officer you will:

  • Evaluating and testing the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Completion of control assessment workpapers in compliance with corporate methodology.
  • Support initiatives relative to controls identification, controls writing, optimization and assurance.
  • Execute control testing, raising observations for formal management review.
  • Assist senior staff in designated risk management and compliance projects
  • Provide transparency into work progress through regular status updates.
  • Closely collaborate with risk and control stakeholders across Lines of Defense.
  • Keep up to date on relevant policy, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with driving a culture of risk and control management, transparency and accountability

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Risk Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Candidate has a minimum of 3+ years of experience with IT risk, audit or technology operations
  • Professional designation a plus (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC).

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
