Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Technology Regulatory Program Manager, Managing Director to uplift its governance of regulatory program management and remediation while bringing connectivity and consistency of execution through dependency management, transparent reporting and improved overall accountability. The candidate should have experience in understanding of a technology organization in a regulated financial services organization, strong program management, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as governance and execution.

What you will be responsible for

  • Formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected regulatory programs
  • Overseeing consistent and horizontal governance mechanisms across all initiatives
  • Ensuring consistent governance and RAG status management across all programs
  • Managing cross-dependencies and critical path items
  • Measuring program performance using OKRs, appropriate systems, tools and techniques to maximize ROI
  • Managing dependencies across programs to ensure no surprises come up and outcomes across a variety of sources and jurisdictions can be achieved through the most effective manner
  • Providing clear and succinct reporting in alignment with our standards to our committees, regulators, and senior management
  • Helping turn gap findings into effective remediation plans
  • Driving a culture of risk excellence and risk management to minimize program risks
  • Constructively and confidently challenging the status quo, critical tollgates, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and third parties/vendors
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive program documentation
  • Developing control deadlines, change management, resource management and budget oversight

What we value

  • Results-oriented ownership mentality and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Clarity PPM tool a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity with existing regulatory programs

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12-15+ years of related experience within the financial services industry including time spent as part of a leadership team
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex transformation / remediation programs.
  • Relevant regulated financial service expertise, with an understanding of challenges of running a large-scale technology transformation program

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
